Matias announces Backlit version of its Wireless Aluminum Keyboard
LAS VEGAS, Thursday, January 6, 2016 — Matias today announced Backlit models of its Wireless Aluminum Keyboard in Silver and Space Gray.
“We took Apple’s iconic Aluminum Keyboard with Numeric Keypad as a starting point, and built from there — adding Bluetooth with multi-pairing support (4 devices), rechargeable 1‑year battery life, and now new models with backlighting and a 2nd dedicated battery just for the backlight,” said Edgar Matias, CEO of Matias.
“With 2 internal batteries, you don’t have to worry about the keyboard dying if you use the backlight too much. The keyboard battery is separate so it will keep working, independent of the backlight battery, for up to a year on a single charge. The backlight battery should last 1 to 2 weeks on a charge (depending on use),” said Matias.
The keyboards will be on display at CES this week, in LVCC Booth #9522 (iLounge Pavilion, North Hall).
The Matias Wireless Aluminum Keyboard with Backlight is available for $139 (US) from Matias and authorized resellers.
