MATIAS ARMOR
LIMITED WARRANTY
Matias Corporation ("Matias") warrants to the original
purchaser that Matias Armor will be free of defects in workmanship
and materials for 5 years from the date of original purchase from
Matias or its authorized agent. In case there is a defect in workmanship
or materials, Matias will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace
the product (with the same or comparable model) at Matias' expense
(except that shipping cost to send the product to Matias is at customer
expense). This warranty does not cover normal wear (e.g., abrasions,
minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil), accidental damage, misuse,
abuse, improper care or alteration, and excludes claims for incidental
or consequential loss. In the event that the Matias Armor Clip product
is included with Matias Armor, also excluded from this warranty
is any damage caused by failure of the post to remain stuck, when
the post has been improperly applied, or when the post is moved
after being stuck once into a position. As well, this warranty excludes
damage caused by a common carrier – such damage should be
claimed with the carrier at the time the damage occurs. Matias'
sole liability under this warranty, for failure to repair or replace
the product, is limited to refund of the original purchase price.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Repair or replacement of Matias Armor as provided under this warranty
is the exclusive remedy of the customer. To the fullest extent allowed
by law, Matias shall not be liable for incidental or consequential
damages even if Matias or its authorized agent has been advised
of the possibility of such damages. This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties
of merchantibility or fitness for a particular purpose.
Some states/countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states/countries do not
allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the
above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from
state to state and country to country.
WARRANTY PROCEDURE
Contact the Matias tech support team first by e-mail at
or by telephone at +1-905-265-8844 to determine whether the item
is indeed defective before shipping. Then make an exchange
merchandise authorization (EMA) request. Please include your
original invoice/proof of payment along with the returned product.
