Award-winning Matias Tactile Pro 3 Keyboard now available in UK, German, and Japanese layouts
TORONTO, March 9, 2011 — Matias has released UK, German, and Japanese versions of its award-winning Tactile Pro 3 Keyboard for Mac — a modern re-imagining of the famed Apple Extended Keyboard, widely viewed as the best keyboard Apple ever made, and no longer in production.
Built using individual Alps mechanical keyswitches, it is faster and more comfortable to type on than the cheaper, less sophisticated switch technologies used in most keyboards.
“Our US and Canadian customers know how great the Tactile Pro is. I'm happy to finally bring it to Europe and Japan,” said Edgar Matias, CEO of Matias.
The keyboard also features a built-in 3-port USB 2.0 hub, convenient for plugging in your mouse or trackball, flash drives, and other accessories.
Price & Availability
At $149.95 (US) suggested retail price, the Tactile Pro 3 is available in Europe from The Keyboard Company, VERTICAL-Technologie, and 2Serve; and from Pleiades in Japan. It's also avalable online from www.matias.ca.
